About Colby Organic Cosmetics

Colby Organic Skin Care is the vision of founder Robert Colby, a 30-year veteran in the cosmetics industry. Mr. Colby worked extensively as both an injection molder and formulator of product ingredients, and became the Chairman and CEO of Harco Manufacturing, the nation's largest injection molder and formulary before being sold to a large conglomerate.

Harco performed extensive work for many companies including, but not limited to, Halston, Estée Lauder, the Ponds Corporation, Jacque Evard and Mary Kay. It was through these relationships and in collaboration with the late Coco Chanel that the inspiration for Colby Organics began.

Robert Colby realized that the need for a pure, organic-based skin care line existed and after many years of experimentation found the “honey bee” to be the basis for his skin care line. Nature’s honey bee produces the purest, most vital “natural skin” ingredients on earth including propolis, royal jelly and of course, honey. These ingredients act as a natural purifier, exfoliant and age-retardant on the human beings' largest organ, our skin.

While “bee products” comprise the majority of ingredients, Colby products also include licorice root, copper and hyaluronic, ingredients which are cutting-edge in the industry and used exclusively by Colby.
